PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday seized 815 grammes of contraband from a passenger at Bacha Khan Airport. The passenger was caught carrying ice, also known as crystal meth, a form of methamphetamine.

It has not yet been made clear where the passenger was en route to.

Earlier this month, the Airport Security Force (ASF) had foiled a plan to smuggle heroin from Islamabad to Saudi Arabia.

On December 21, the PIA security team, ASF, ANF, and Pakistan Customs officials discovered 17 kilogrammes of heroin hidden in a concealed compartment of a passenger’s bag during a pre-departure sweep.
