BEIJING: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn on the sidelines of belt and road forum in Beijing on Sunday.
The matters of mutual interests and bilateral issues were under d
iscussion dur
ing the meeting. The prime minister emphasised the need to en
hance the relations by promoting cooperation between the two countries in multiple spheres.
Haile expressed interest to cooperate with Pakistan in sharing experiences on development initiativ
es. Meanwhile, Nawaz also held meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in Beijing on Sunday.
On the occasion, Alexander said that Belarus considers Pakistan its
best friend. He invited Nawaz to visit Belarus. Meanwhile, Nawaz met with the president of Vietnam in Beijing on Sunday. The matters pertaining to bilateral relations came up dur
ing the meeting.
